Our Process

Updated: Jul 22, 2022

Contrary to popular belief, I do not source rugs from long forgotten houses or thrift stores. Many of our Persian rugs are sourced from within the United States via eBay! Our lovely Turkish rugs are sourced from dealers in Turkey via Etsy, however. With the world at our fingertips, the hunt for old goodies is ever increasing!

When our rug shipment arrives, I clean up the pieces by hand. Some rugs receive a good beating and all rugs are meticulously vacuumed over and over. Most items from our Turkish dealers are pre-washed, but our Persian rugs come as is. We strongly encourage our customers to take their rug care into their own hands as a way to keep costs as low as possible.

We currently capture all photos via the iPhone 12 Pro. We take photos within our living room which has access to lots of natural light. In addition, we use 1-2 photography lights. We enhance our photos with slight editing techniques such as sharpening and increasing highlights. We pair each rug with a Pantone palette.

This way, I hope I can offer quality products to a larger, broader audience of shoppers.

Remember, the only rug you'll regret is the one you didn't buy.
